I took my hcg trigger 13 days ago. Got a BFP just now and it's not exactly faint and not FMU. Two months ago I did get a false positive at 11 days post trigger, but it was gone by 13. I want to be excited, but knowing that I had the hcg in my system from the shot is just messing with me. My doctor said to test on day 14, I know, I'm bad. I plan to test tomorrow afternoon again to compare.
If it's real, this is the first time I've gotten pregnant since starting the lipids treatment. Last successful pregnancy we did progesterone + lovenox. I really want to take the lovenox because I was successful on it the last time, but my doctor here thinks that was a fluke. Ugh. I still have 3 boxes (@ $700 a piece) left so I'm so tempted to take it anyway, but of course, don't want to be on a blood thinner without the doctor knowing.
One more question if you've made it this far. I've been training for a HM and my race is 4 weeks away so I'm up to 10.5 miles as my longest. I had told myself all along that my plan was to just stop where I was when I got pregnant and maintain there. I have 3 options for this race: 1) Do the HM, but slow my pace and walk more to avoid overexertion 2) Do the 10k option 3) Defer my registration to next year when I'll be 3months postpartum (hopefully).

Ugh, with you having had a false at 11dptrigger, it makes me unsure. 13 days past is generally enough time though, I really hope this is it for you!
Re: HM - I feel like you could probably comfortably do a run/walk mix for the HM, as long as you are okay with that. Your time will be slower than you had planned regardless of if you were to do it now or train only for the 2 months postpartum you would have if you deferred.
I agree with discogranny, a false positive at 11dptrigger, makes 13 a grey line. But that's not to say it's not possible, and FX crossed it's real!!! Can you get a blood test ASAP? Keep us updated tomorrow after you test!
And no clue on the HM, but I think once you know for sure about the BFP you can talk to your doc about it, too.

I hope it is a true BFP for you!
Regarding the running...in 4 weeks you'll be about 8 weeks pregnant.
When I was 5 weeks pregnant, I was supposed to run an 80 mile race, so I was training SUPER hard. I didn't run that race because obviously that is a dangerous distance. By the time I was 8 weeks pregnant, I didn't have the energy to run at all. THe point I'm making is that I was a super hardcore runner and suddenly was so fatigued and exhausted that even at my level of training I couldn't do it anymore. So...I would plan to walk/run the 8k or skip all together.
Sorry I missed this yesterday but I was going to say it's more likely true that not at 13dpo. I hope you can get betas early next week to confirm!
As far as running, I was only up to and training for a 5K when I got my BFP. I ran the 5K that weekend and then saw the RE the following week and he said no more running so I haven't run since. Different doctors have different opinions and there are plenty of women who run well into their pregnancy. The way it was put to me is if something were to happen with the pregnancy would you blame running. If the answer is yes, you know your answer. Otherwise I'd say you'd be fine to run/walk the HM at whatever pace you feel comfortable with.
