do silhouette's typically go one way vs the other?

I'm going to a mom's craft night and making one of W and can't decide which way I want it to go.  I'm going to hang it in the corner of my dining room.  Should I have it facing the middle?  I'm sure it doesn't actually matter, I just want someone to help me decide.
