I'm watching her on the day care cam rolling over and then FREAKING OUT when she ends up on her back. Every. Time. Then, she rolls from her back to front, and FREAKS OUT that she's facing upright. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU'RE WORKING TOWARDS, OLIVIA? LAY ON YOUR SIDE IF YOU CAN'T MADE UP YOUR MIND. I'm pretty sure the drooly kid in the exersaucer is judging her.

LoL!
When Daisy was 2 she HATED mittens. Flip her shit until she got them off. Figuring she would catch on once her hand got cold we let her keep them off. Nope! She would then flip her shit once her hands got cold ten-fold AND refuse the mittens to warm them. That was a long winter.
Jack does this, only he ends up on his tummy and can't figure out what to do to get out of it, so he starts crying.
Does he have a dramatically stunned face when he ends up on his tummy? I wish I could tape her reactions right now, she's giving some amazing over reactions. Her mind is blown.
Clare just yesterday figured out she could roll back over if she didn't want to be on her tummy after rolling there herself. Lightbulb moment. Lol.
This is what I'm waiting for. The only reason O can go from tummy to back right now is because she's still crazy short and is built like Danny Devito at the moment, so it's not a real milestone.
Lol, and it appears she is not ready yet for it to be.
Mine never rolled over in either direction. She started sitting up at 4 months and was content to just sit and stare at everyone like a creepy little statue. She didn't even try to grab anything that was even a centimeter beyond arm's reach. It was weird.
Oh man, this BS drove me nuts. I started putting that seahorse with the belly that lights up right next to her so when she started to roll over the seahorse stopped her. That worked for a few days.
Betty, has O had her 4 mo. shots yet? How did the next day or two go? Leo just got his this morning...trying to figure out what to expect.
Also, Leo is a shorty too. He's like 85th percentile in weight and 10th in height! HAHA
She got them yesterday, we've just been dosing her with Tylenol every four hours but she seems fine. She was really lethargic last time, but I haven't seen as big of reaction this round. O was already feeling crappy though, so that probably factors in somehow.
Lucy, I think you should post that daycare pic at every opportunity. This is making me nervous that my kid isn't rolling over yet. I can't be breezy, I'm not good at this.

I'm curious, what is she like now? G didn't roll either, and barely crawled. She never 'played' with anything really. She's still a watcher, and a bit cautious but no longer quiet, lol. So much talking.
fuuuccccck
This was how Leo was. I thought he would be my silent one lol.

Just do what I do, don't read anything and call other babies nerds.
((hugs)) the milestone stuff can really fuck with me sometimes, too. Your kid is probably a secret genius.
That's my N. She plays a little, but she's definitely more into watching and observing. It makes it easy to be home with her, because she's generally content to just follow me around and watch what I'm doing. And she never shuts up. Ever. During the rare moments of silence it's especially creepy to look over and see her staring at me intently and mimicking my every move.
She's also cautious and standoffish for quite a while in new situations. She's not the least bit scared. She just doesn't want to be bothered.
