Since I've now taken a walk and am in a better mood, let's go through the good stuff so that the moms-to-be don't have panic attacks
My kid won't say Mama, but she does say Kitty cat. Super cute. She also started mimicking me with the "muah" sound that I make when I give her kisses. She spent the drive home from playgroup "muahing" her stuffed bear.

I don't know if this is cool, but my kid is currently obessed with bits of paper and stickers. He got a sticker at the Dr's office yesterday and he has been carrying it with him everywhere. He just crawls around the house carrying it (he did this with a fortune cookie fortune too). I have no idea why!
Otherwise, he is really starting to get good at the pulling up /cruising thing. It is really neat to see him get better at it every day. I love when I sit on the couch and he pulls up my leg and rests his head on my knee. Love!
She's pretty good at drawing faces. She aso loves to dance, both at ballet class and freestyle when we take her to venues with live music. She's not fully potty trained yet, but she's gotten MUCH better with using the potty.
Q also does the "muah" sound, it's hilarious. She's obsessed with the stair and would climb them all day long if she good. E is currently obsessed with being a rock star www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0gtrscXKgU
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
She's talking in full sentences, complete with hand gestures and proper inflections. I'll ask her what she wants to do, and she'll point to her chin, say "um", and then tell me what she wants.
She also says "no thanks" when she doesn't want something, which I think is hilarious.
Not something she does, but I put her hair in pigtails this week and it is so cute I just stop and stare at her.
We visited a preschool we hope to put her in this fall, and she LOVED it. The first kid she met today gave her a bear hug, and she hugged him right back.

We havea book where the animals hair is furry in small places. She knows to rub that spot with her finger without me having to show her. Then she looks at me to say "good girl" and she smiles.
He is about to crawl but can't quite. Today he wanted me to pick him up but was half way across the room, so instead of crying, he rolled over 4 times until he reached my feet & then smiled at me so big He also loves to give kisses

My DD is about to turn 3, and despite her newly found drama queen ways, she is so adorable right now.
She is obsessed with the show The Little Einsteins, and she spends literally hours a day acting out the episodes. She remembers them in detail and will say things like, "little dragon kite is scared to fly, so he can't get to the kite parade. Let's help him!" then she runs off with whatever toy she's pretending is the little dragon kite from the show.
She sings all day long, which I just love.
And she's fascinated by reading lately. Her favorite game right now is to ask how to spell a word (then we sound it out) or to ask what words start with a certain letter. It's amazing to watch her little brain work!

DS likes to sing We Are Young, except that he only knows about four lines, and even some of those lyrics are questionable. Still, he taught DD to do so as well, so now they sing it together all the time.

DS is 3 and really into building and then hanging out in nests. They're dinosaur nests. Anything round (balls, play apples & oranges, etc) is an egg and must be gathered up and kept in the nest. We read, wrestle, have tickle fights, and just chat in these nests. It's pretty fun.
DD (9mo) dies of laughter whenever she sees DH. DIES. What's so funny? I don't know but it's adorable.
This morning, DS figured out how to sit on his big teddy bear's leg like it's a chair. It's the most hilarious thing to watch since he sits and does this pretend relax pose then jumps up and runs out of his room. Then he comes running back to do it again and again.

DS is 5. He can do a handstand in the pool. He can sit on the bottom of the pool and have a tea party -- except it's a 'dinosaur tea party' bc a regular tea party is way too girly.
He never ever ever stops talking and it's actually pretty amazing when it's not annoying.
He hums the instrumental parts to LMFAO songs (and he is into kid music way more than the radio, but I guess the instrumental sections have stuck in his mind).
The absolute joy of my day is watching them interact with each other w/o me. They've only truly started doing in the last few months and it's usually in the car: they were in the backseat yesterday, making each other laugh. I have no idea what was so funny, but it was the best sound.

This is old but still cracks us up. During Kid 2's infant stage he only wanted me, since I was nursing. Well, my husband was good about taking him early mornings but it didn't go so smoothly. One morning Kid 1 drew this picture
My husbad asked what it was a picture of and he said Dad and Sad Baby. Kid 1 was not even 3.
She is just a year, but she is ah-MAZING. She says, "puppy" and and feeds the dog and the says "zo-zo" (dog's name) if you tell her not to feed Zoie. Like Zoie has clearly been starved and she needs to fatten her up. I believe that Zoie has been serepitiously discussing this with her and enumerating all the ways that we have starved and mistreated her. Zoie is a dachshund and a food hound.
She also says "more" in such a mournful way, like she is an extra in "Oliver twist" and we have been starving her with gruel.
Also she is learning her colors and says "purple", which I have decided is her favorite color. So cute.

J is starting to pull up - mostly to his knees when it's on inanimate objects, but if he's pulling up on me, he can get to his feet pretty easily. I sometimes even get a bit of an inadvertent hug out of it, too.
Just recently, he's started crawling to me if he wants to play with me and has even followed me into a different room. It's such a small thing, but makes my heart get all gooey.
I get the biggest kick out of watching my kids figure out how the world works. DS1 (4 yo) and I had the following conversation earlier today:
DS: Mom, when people say "why not," you aren't actually supposed to answer them, right? Me: What? I don't understand what you mean. DS: You know, like if I ask someone if they want a cookie or something and they say "why not," I am not supposed to tell them why they shouldn't eat cookies, right? Me: No, it's just something people say. It's called a rhetorical question. You're not supposed to answer them. DS: That's what I figured.
And DS2 is just generally adorable. He was so genuinely concerned when a baby crab on Dora couldn't find his mommy this afternoon. He keep yelling instructions at the television.
My son sat in his room 2 weeks ago and cried, "I can't do it. I just can't read!" H and I cracked up before explaining to him that he can't read because he is 1. Sofreaking adorable.
DS1 also loves to reinact Tv shows. He mixes them together though so mickey might make a guest appearance in a curious George episode. And he runs all around acting them out. He tries to sing along with songs in the car even if he only knows a word or two, he whispers the part he doesn't know. It is pretty cute. His favorite song is about the library and he requests it like ten times on each car ride. I love it because he pronounces library like the characters in the movie "Where the Heart Is", and says "mommy I want the 'lie -berry' song!"
DS2 has started grabbing toys and also tries to grab anything you have in your hand. He almost got my bagel the other day! I bet old ladies would say that means he is ready for solids. Lol.

She's starting to walk and she's been reaching for her books while saying 'book'.
Also, she LOVES to dance so we started listening to Jack FM in the car (used to listen to talk radio). She loves Motley Crue, AC/DC and Aerosmith. We also taught her to 'raise the roof' and say 'woo woo'. It's so cute!
Here's a pic from the other day when she put her sunglasses on upside down and proceeded to play with her piano:
