The day I found the hidden menu at Panera my life changed forever.
Can someone please explain to me the purpose of the 'hidden' menu. It's posted on the door when you walk in, that's not really hidden! And why is it hidden to begin with? I'm confused.

I hadn't heard of it before. Looks like it's just salads?
It's salads with "real" meat on it, meaning plenty rather than the two strips of chicken breast on most of their salads. They also have some great non-grain breakfast items.

Most items are not bread-based, so I think it's "hidden" because they want you to buy their bread items. But you're right, it's not really hidden.
The french onion soup is amazing. Also, I love a seasonal cranberry and turkey sandwich they do around this time of year. Don't remember the name of it, though.

I love their chipotle chicken sandwich. So good! They get annoyed when I don't want any of the sides. "But they're free!" I know! I don't want the apple, I don't need more bread to go with my sandwich and the chips are way too salty. And I don't want to take it home.
I had the autumn squash soup twice last week. So good. Normally I just run in for a bagel every once in a while, since the rest of the menu is pretty underwhelming.
