I was thinking Tarte in Dollface too. Ulta has a blush/bronzer pack in the bins by the cash rack that has a small Dollface and a small Park Avenue Princess bronzer for $15. The size of the Dollface in the pack isn't a full size, but it's a much larger sample to try. The blush alone is about $15 worth of a full size blush. Sephora may have it in their clear bins too. I never use the bronzer, but still feel like it's a good deal without a larger investment. I swap the bronzer with friends.

I like Jane Iredale Barely Rose and Smashbox in Flush. The latter has a bit of shimmer but it's subtle and I don't mind it at all.
