It's actually afternoon, but it's ok :-)
Today is a busy one at work - payroll deadlines always make the day hectic :-) Also, I made red velvet cake balls for DH's classes, so I'm going to deliver them in about an hour. Hopefully they'll like them!
Tonight, we're just planning on relaxing at home, and I have to pack since I am going to Dubai tomorrow for a concert. (Alicia Keys!)
QOTD: I will always answer Ben Folds :-) I've seen him 3 times, and met him once, and he's just the best in concert! Plus I just adore him, so I could be slightly biased :-P

Good afternoon! I've been so busy I haven't posted in a while.
I've got lots of marking to do, and then I'm teaching until 9 tonight. Nothing too exciting after that, just relaxing.
QOTD: I don't think I can pick one. I saw New Order in 2011 and that was a really good concert and the crowd was great! After that I have a tie with the Jesus and Mary Chain in 1994 (small concert venue, so it was great) and then Nirvana with the Breeders in 1993, and then Nine Inch Nails before they became popular in a small club. See I can't decide, lol . I like small venues and I'm spoiled because I refuse to go to big venues now.
Have an article due and a cranky baby at home (older one at preschool).
My sister arrives tonight for a quick two day stay. So thankful her jobs take her close by and she can visit.
DH out tonight so I'll be watching kids and, oh yeah, need to change the sheets on the bed for my sister.
QOTD: so hard! I was really into U2 in high school and had front row seats during the Achtung Baby tour. Amazing. Also, my DH is a musician so I have had a great time at some of his shows.
Work, gym, then a work-related social function (happy hour type thing) that I'll go to for a bit before slipping out and going home:-). It's no fun watching people drink when I can't....
Our anatomy scan is tomorrow! We already know it's a boy, but are still excited and a little nervous to see him again.
QOTD: Barenaked Ladies at Mandalay Bay (the beach/poolside). It was a very small venue, like maybe 2000 people, outside on nice night, very chilled set list....just a good time :-)
Hi all. I'm student teaching and haven't been around too much. Once school is over I have I go grocery shopping. Tonight we are having vegetarian rolled lasagna.

I'm just here working. Doing a project.
QOTD: I've been to some concerts and enjoyed them but I can't say that any stand out. I haven't been in a few years but I did enjoy the ones that I've been to. It's not quite a concert but I'd say that seeing Anthony Bourdain at a live event and getting his autograph was pretty cool. I've also gotten an autographed CD from a British band called The Kooks and shook their hands after a concert.

It's Friday now, but today I am planning on heading to Aldi to get some Christmas treats and then somewhere to find a charging block for my new smart phone. Then it's home to make dinner -- creamy potato soup and cheddar biscuits.
QOTD: Simon & Garfunkel, Rod Laver Arena, June 26, 2009.
