What kind of dates do you like?

I'm 31 and still like fun dates, like putt putt or go carts. What do you guys like to do dates? I think my favorite is going to the movies, then walking to the ice cream shop.

I actually hate the movies for a date. You don't get to talk to the person.

Drinks, coffee, dinner, or doing something "fun" like a local festival, putt putt, etc.

I won't go to movies early on, but I think they are nice after some dates where you can hang out and talk.

Gotcha. Yeah, I thought you meant first dates. No, I do like the movies for a date. Plus I think you can tell a lot from the type of movies that they pick lol. I like to analyze!

Dinner dates are easy and can be fun with the right person. That said, I really enjoy doing outdoor activities, so things like hiking, walking to the ice cream shop, going for a bike ride, etc are all fun to me. Of course, now that I'm in a relationship, we enjoy doing yard work together, but we're old LOL

Coffee, art walk/art museum, hiking, something where you can talk. Movies are better later on. I find it super akward to sit in the dark next to someone you just met and have only exchanged a few word with.

He comes over on weekends and we do yardwork, fix things around my house. Then we wash up and go out. So we balance the 'old' with the inner children. lol

Yeah, if he wanted to see human centapede or something equally disturbing, it would be a good indication that I needed to back away slowly.

Bwhahaha! I have acutally seen that movie. I was actually thinking along the lines of, he would ONLY see a certain genre or would stick his nose up at a something thought provoking or off beat, then he probably wouldn't be for me! I also judge a date by the restaurant or bar he picks. Fuck me, I can be judgy. I need to stop this!
