I didn't want to cut their hair, but it was looking more and more bad 80s hockey hair. Its really thin and I was getting tired of people's comments. And they have 2 more preschool interviews today and tomorrow and I was worried they would look like feral children :?
The woman came recommended and even though I asked her to just cut a little but off the back, she cut everywhere and its not even. The boys did awesome (they love hair dryers and combs, etc) and barely moved the whole time. I feel like they look like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber Totally regretting my decision, but at least it grows back!
But they are so cute!!! We are getting comments here too but for every one "when are you going to cut it?" comment we get two "don't cut his hair!" I actually think they look adorable.
They are very cute! J's first couple of haircuts were awful. He ended up looking like he had a bowl cut. I was devastated. We just went yesterday, and he looks great. The lady told me to tell the hair cutter to keep it long, and just add layers, NOT to take everything up. We got his bangs to just above his eyebrows to keep them looking girly. Boys hair is way harder than I thought.
we did a buzz cut on Jameson once and I HATED it. He looked like such a little punk, definitely not the sweet boy look I like. Thankfully it does grow quickly.
The boys' hair grows REALLY fast. I cut it maybe a month ago and it's already at the point where I should cut it again. ETA and I leave their hair long, so it's pretty long for me to want to cut it again lol.

I completely understand! I cried after P's first haircut and I thought the same thing as you. I think it was because the fringe was too straight. After a few days I looked better. They still look very cute so don't worry!

Yeah, I think the first haircut is always traumatic. I always hate my boys' haircuts, even after the first. It will grow and you'll hate it less

G has had many haircuts, but he's growing out a particularly unfortunate one. I know how you feel, I'm sorry. I think it's hard to cut little toddler boy hair, I never quite know how to describe what I want it to look like.

Awwwwwwwww, I don't think it looks bad at all! I did Sam's myself and I hated it the first couple days, but after the first week I loved it. It's getting to the point I need to do it again and I'm scared, he hated having it done
