It's a foggy, cool day out, so unless the weather gets better by this afternoon, we'll just be staying inside today. I had planned to go to the playground to get one more outside day before the weather turns cold tomorrow.
QOTD: Runny yolks/whites gross me out, so either over-hard (is that a word? Like over-easy but cooked until everything's solid), scrambled, or hard-boiled. If I'm at a restaurant breakfast and accidentally get a soft-boiled egg, I'll eat the hard parts as best I can and just leave a pool of the runny stuff at the bottom of the egg. ::shudder::

Good evening! It was hot almost all day today, so I got up early and DH took me to grocery so I could do this week's shopping. Dinner tonight was leftover soup so I had very little else to do today. I caught up with Top Chef: New Orleans and did some work on my MIL's Christmas stocking and chatted with my Mom. Found out my cousin is expecting a girl at the end of February. I knew she was pregnant, but I didn't know they has found out the sex. They also announced her name and I don't really like it, but she's not my daughter. I am excited for them though.
QOTD: For everything but boiled eggs, I like them cooked just until the whites are set. I really like them almost raw, just enough to warm the yolks and set the whites. Boiled eggs I like cooked all the way to hard boiled, which firm whites and yolks. DH cooks the eggs in our house -- he does it so much better than me -- but always worries that I am just being brave or nice when he gives me barely cooked eggs. But I love them runny so it's never a problem for me to have "underdone" eggs.

Haha - That's like me and DH when it comes to things like fried potatoes. DH likes them with like a blackened crust on them. I like them golden brown and can't imagine that he actually wants them black. But he does. Even when I try to make them more to his liking, they aren't done enough!!

Good morning! It's is cold and rainy here today. I can't really complain though as it's our first taste of fall so far.
QOTD: I love eggs and will eat them any way. I really like soft boiled and have the timing down to the second for the perfect egg - 3m37sec. I also make eggs benedict pretty regularly. I've introduced M to Toad in a Hole recently, he loves them.
afternoon. we're leaving for the US and then Italy tonight and i am not ready. we're going to be gone for two months but will be buying/getting a lot of stuff while there. i'm having trouble deciding what luggage to use. too big and we'll never be able to travel around italy. too little and we won't have room to bring everything back.
not to mention i'm trying to leave the house spotless and DS just full on vomited all his milk everywhere. including on me. he always spits up a lot, but he's never vomited.
QOTD: not a huge egg fan. they're hard on my stomach. but i do really like egg salad. otherwise scrambled or as an omelette.

Good afternoon! Not much going on today. Just the usual.
QOTD: I like hard boiled eggs, but the yolk has to be cooked with hard boiled eggs. I also like poached and baked eggs, but with a runny yolk. Go figure.
Afternoon. It's a crisp dry November day. Had to scrape the windshield this morning on our way out. We went to a bf support group this morning, which was kinda nice. Got S weighed and she is now 4.85kg, up over 400g in 2wks, which is great.
QOTD: I like eggs not too runny. If boiled or fried yoke should be semi solid. Scrambled or omelette shouldn't be runny at all!

Hi there, it's a typical day here for me. Working on a project. The weather is mostly pleasant. It is bright, sunny and still fairly warm. There is a bit of a cool breeze that cuts across though. Everything looks mostly bare now too. It's basically late autumn/early winter but mild so far fortunately.
QOTD: I'm not picky about my eggs as long as they are cooked well and of good quality. I like to vary them up. I do lie good eggs though. My little sister doesn't like eggs at all. She thinks they are all gross.
Me? I don't want to eat them all the time but I do like them. Scrambled, sunny side up, over easy, benedict, an egg tossed into a pizza or sandwich, etc. There are probably other ways, but yes, I like them. I don't really eat the boiled ones when I am out and about. I have been known to boil my own though.
