How was your Mother's Day?

How was everyone's Mother's Day? What'd you do? Did you get anything? For the mom's that this was their first was it how you expected?

Has anyone started thinking about what they're going to do for Father's Day?

My first Mother's Day was good. Went to my surrogate mom's house and had breakfast cooked by the guys. We also went to the zoo for a bit. After the zoo, we grabbed lunch and then while Liam napped I took Darla to the vet. She got 2 more hot spots so they're testing her thyroid :/

The day was just what I expected, no card but a great gift I get to spend Thursday getting a massage, facial, mani, and pedi.

I've decided what I want to do for DH's Father's Day gift, I just need to get the missing components and then take pictures.

I had a good day. Breakfast. Only had to change two diapers all day. Woot!!! DH got me a "Twins Rule My Life" mug.

That is definitely something to be excited about! Liam had a really gross diaper and DH had to deal with it because I was outside lol.

Dave's original Mother's Day plans were to take me out to brunch. But my mom wanted us to visit, and HIS mom wanted us to visit --- too stressful. So Dave invited them to our apartment for brunch. He did 90% of the cleaning, and took care of the baby so I could cook (which I love to do, so it wasn't a chore). And for once, both sets of grandparents actually listened to me and gave the baby back when he was sleepy or hungry!

Dave got me cards from himself, the baby and the dogs. He also made me a hilarious collage of Liam's funny faces (when the camera caught him at a bad moment). My parents brought me flowers and some money with the stipulation to use it for something fun. Dave's mom got me a pretty necklace and lightweight scarf.
