Weekend plans

Anyone have anything interesting?

I'm headed to Michigan to talk to two of my mentors about career stuff, and see a couple friends.

Tonight: E and I are going to an ice skating event that's a fundraiser for an older GS that is planning a trip to Europe. A will be at work tonight.

Tomorrow: A has a haircut and an appt. at the vet for one of her cats and she needs to spend some serious time unpacking. E and I are going to get out of her hair for the day. We are going to have a YES! day a la ct. I've been thinking about doing this with E for a while now and think that now is the perfect time for a day with just the two of us.

Sunday: No real plans that I know of yet. Probably stuff around the house. My birthday is Monday, so perhaps we will go out to dinner for that.

Not really "interesting" but busy...saturday gym, reading tutor for sprout, then a trip to yankee candle factory (they have this whole winter wonderland set up) with friends. its a yearly holiday tradition for our families to go together.

Sunday is Daisy's 3rd birthday (how crazy is that???) so after church we'll have family over for sunday dinner and cake.

hopefully some thanksgiving prep will get done somewhere in there too.

Lots of Thanksgiving errands and prep. I wish I could cook a week in advance!

We have to try new meds for LMC. I am very upset about it but we are out of options. So,I will be on side effect watch:-(

Other than that,I just want to lay low. It's been hell with LMC lately and she has ALL of next week off from school. Me + 4 kids+ Thanksgiving prep, rolls to dessert, with zero help. I should take up drinking, right? :-)

Duchess - hope the new meds help.

Tonight - Nada. I've been home with Carter all day today. He woke up with a 101.1 fever, but per the pedi doesn't have strep. I still think he does. We'll have leftovers for dinner and then some cuddle/tv time. L and I will watch stuff on the DVR after the kids go to bed.

Tomorrow - L is baking a ton of cupcakes. A friend and her daughter are supposed to come over and help decorate the cupcakes (they are for a school fundraiser on Monday.) Hopefully, Carter's fever won't spike tonight and he'll be 24 hrs fever free so they can come over. We'll probably go to dinner once they leave.

Sunday - Church and then to the airport to pick up the ILs. We'll go to lunch and then home to get ready for the week.

Tonight movie and pizza might. E and I are starting early with Chitty Chitty bang bang. She is transfixed. I don't know what we will watch when s gets home.

Sat laundry and we need to get e new shoes. She is going to make us broke with her flipper feet. She started school measuring a ten. She got new sneakers last weekend and she needed 11s. So now she has no regular shoes or boots. On top of those Ella needs new indoor shoes for school as well. We also need a baby gift so....off to the mall we will go.

Sunday we have a baby naming in the am. Other than that nothing. Which we need.

Sunday we have friends coming over to help paint the nursery. Saturday is going to include a lot of trying to finish getting that room emptied and generally ready to be painted.

I also have a 10 page paper due next Wednesday that I basically have not started, and a final project that needs a ton of work. So somehow that's going to fit in there too.... Yeah, not sure how this is all happening.
