Finally - some PIPs! (PIPs are working now!)

We've been unpacked for awhile now in our new place, but I couldn't find the camera cord. But I found it today! Hooray! I have a few things to show you all.

First, my mom found this really cool piece of pottery on a trip she went on. She made me guess what it was, but I had no clue. When she told me, I thought, genius! It's a bowl that you put your ball of yarn in so it doesn't roll around on the floor while you work. And it's rather stylish, I think! Check it out:

Next, I started teaching myself how to knit. Here is my first finished product. It's just a dishcloth, but I learned a lot doing it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I'm looking forward to improving my skills.


And finally, I made this little purse (pattern HERE) for a friend's daughter I'm going to visit next week.

That's an awesome bowl - it's amazing what people can think up!
