So I gave MH my pants to iron this morning. He is military so he irons better than I do. I go to put on my pants 10 minutes before I am supposed to leave for my interview and ZOMG I got fatter over the weekend!!!! These pants were snug around the waist and riding up my ass. Oh wait, no I didn't. I gave him my pp size smaller pants to iron. So no pants and 5 minutes to figure it out because there was no way I am getting a job with pants that tight.

My ankle is so gross looking and still hurts. I get to follow up with my doctor this afternoon and I'm sure he is going to lecture me. I was told to go to the ER this weekend if things weren't improving after the meds they gave me. Well I didn't because frankly I just don't listen very well.

Mack- my husband is also the ironer in the family (although none of my clothes require ironing)- yay military men!

So, last week my mom began to give me grief that my husband irons, and that I don't do it for him. I would be doing nobody favors, because if I ironed his shirt, he would have to go back and re-iron it. Sometimes I think my mom forgets how a lot of stuff doesn't get done around the house with a toddler and infant (and I think she forgot how lazy I am).

Everyone we know gives us shit about my husband being the cook in are family. Hey just because I have a vagina does not mean I have to do everything!! and well, he cook's better so there!

DH is the ironer in our house too. If I have something that needs to be ironed, it goes to the dry cleaner.

I don't iron. In fact I try to avoid purchasing clothes that need to be ironed. But when absolutely neccesary I make my husband do it too.

I went with my bigger pants and spent about 2 minutes ironing them. Still made it on time and I think it went well!

My husband irons because he is insane. He irons his clothes after they have been drycleaned.
I just avoid clothes that need to be ironed.
