I just watched last night's episode and realized the reason this show gets on my last nerve right now is because the ridiculousness of pairing Jess with Nick. 

She's quirky, but she has sense and is put together and should be dating someone who has it together. He's a complete fool. He's  filthy, has no goals, does stupid things not because he thinks it might be fun but because he thinks these stupid things are smart. If his character was just weird but everything else in life was going well, this relationship would be believable, but it's not.

I loved nick before he and Jess got together. Now he is annoying me.

Last night's episode was absolutely awful. I don't know if I laughed once.  It felt like all of the regular writers and directors took a holiday.

Thank you! My husband and I are actually about to delete the show from our DVR. It makes me sad, but the show has gone so downhill. I hate what they've done (or haven't done) with Winston's character. They just make him sit around and play with puzzles and act like a moron. He's such a likable character. Surely, they can develop him better than that. The whole storyline with Schmidt was giving me anxiety at the beginning of the season. They've turned him into a lunatic!
