Are we the cool kids or the weirdos???

I notice that we are one of very few boards that doesn't have at least one moderator. IS that because we are super-cool and can handle ourselves without a mod. Or are we the weirdos no-one wants to touch? The table that even the teachers try to avoid

How do you get a mod? Wouldnt we have to vote for one among us? Isnt is JennyBee.

Don't know how you get one and I don't know if JennyBee made themove with us and/or would want to be mod here as well... I think our resident ninja jedi is right btw.... band geeks: )

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one since the mod has certain rights (deleting whole threads, posts, etc) that no one else does. If any spam comes up or someone freaks out, I wouldn't want to have to worry about whether personal information might be posted here without having a moderator to deal with it (i.e. delete it). While all the ladies here now seem sane, we don't know each other and - no offense - I don't trust anyone online completely. Plus, newbies could come along and go postal on us at some point.

I wouldn't particularly want the job, but I really hate the fact that both on the new TN and here, a poster can't go back and delete whole threads that she started. I want to be able to delete my history. Grr. So if no one else wants to do it and we agree that we need a mod, then I would do it for that reason alone. But if someone else wants to do it because they actually want to be a mod, then please do. I think we should have one.

I'm a band geek for sure, in that I was in the band for 8 years.

I will tell you this about Bank geeks. We fly under the radar because we are good kids, we get good grades, come to school etc. however this allows us to get in all sorts of trouble. So yeah I think this is a pretty good assessment.

All of the mods so far volunteered or were voted in by their board. If you guys want a mod you can have one. Actually I think it's a good idea for each board to have at least one mod just to deal with spam and in case some asshole decides to post personal info.

So decide who you want it to be and let me know!

Let's make it easier and less like Dodgeball metaphors. Who WANTS to be mod? Because, I can vote for everybody so you all feel good inside, but in the end...who actually has the qualifications and desire? That would take a lot less posts from me

Hi Ladies! I'm here and made the move :-) I'm definitely with you on the band geeks thing :-) I was in band and choir!

Anyway, I'm more than happy to be Mod if you'd like! If someone else is interested, please feel free :-) Additionally, we can have 2 - so if anyone wants to co-Mod, we could easily do that.
