Well... I went to a tree festival thingy, we had "red Thursday" sales around here so I picked up some tools for DH cause I am awesome and then we went home, Wy napped, picked up the house, we had dinner and watched the Macys Thanksgiving Parade.
Super exciting.
Tomorrow I am going to look at a camera that is on sale and go to a movie because it is a me day. Wy can fend for himself. I will leave some snacks and water in his crib. Or drop him off at my moms.
What did YOU do today Muppet? And why are YOU up so late?!
Somehow I just thought you were talking to je since I am German...lol But I have been here for ten years so it feels like my holiday now and I had quite a traditional family thanksgiving. No such thing in Germany though.

I'm in Alabama. It's only ten here. I'm about to go to bed. I spent the day with my in-laws, who I'm not particularly fond of. And it's a day that revolves around meat, so that's lame for me. I'm counting down until college football on Saturday and driving home on Sunday.

I don't think I ever realized it was a different time zone.
We got together with another American ex-pat mom and son for a playdate while we watched the Macy's parade via slingbox in the afternoon. DH came home from work a little early and I made red beans and rice, cornbread, and a bourbon pecan pie for dinner. We had some beers, watched some football, ate our very American (although not turkey-based meal), and headed to bed!
Our big turkey dinner is on Saturday with a bunch of other ex-pat families. It will be madness :-)
