Geeky Tree Ornaments

Our tree is a "kid" tree. We have multiple Elvis and DC/Marvel character ornaments all over the place. 

ETA: Oh, I forgot about the Star Wars and Transformers  ornaments.

Need to look into getting a LOTR themed or two for H sometime.

I don't have any Doctor Who ones. I need to fix that this year.

I haven't even gotten our tree out, my favorite wasn't made to be a geek one, but we decided it was a pokemon. Its a pink pig with sparkle wings. This weekend we hoping to get our tree and stuff up. Last week was all potty training. I will try to get a good photo.

Ours is getting put up this weekend. Usually it's up the day after thanksgiving but the last couple of years it's been postphoned for whatever reason. Not a fan of that. Especially with a shorten season. Dumb calendar.

ETA: Just ordered this for H - they'll be on the tree next year!

How did potty training go?  Did you do the three-day method?

How did potty training go?  Did you do the three-day method?

  We did a week and half method, it only really clicked last Sunday, and he still refuses to poop in the potty. He did go to school in big boy undies and did not have a single accident. But I have to watch him like a hawk to remind him.

Our tree isn't up yet, but we have a Darth Vadar that talks, a TARDIS and a lego Darth Vadar.

I have 2 different TARDISes, a Storm Trooper, Maleficent, Animal (from the Muppets), Homer Simpson, R2D2, a Yellow Submarine, and various nurse/firefighter stuff.

I love those Star Trek ones!

  Do you live near Pensacola? Or just come in for the run? I ask because we are from near there well my dh, his family all live down about 45 mins south. Just wondering

IT'S UP! I'm crazy excited. I still have to get a new tree skirt though, but here's some (almost) finished pics!

The eyeballs I found at Target last Halloween, and bought them especially for Christmas. It amuses the hell out of me that they blend in with the regular Christmas balls and then all of a sudden you realize you're looking at an eyeball.

  Lucky! Someone at our Target broke every Darth Vader, and had smashed in all the Yoda, I guess they are not a star wars fan.

We have quite a few Disney ornaments on the tree, though I don't really count those as geeky since I've had them since I was a child.

The Giant Darth Vader heads are easter eggs I made into Christmas, they were out of storm troopers and Yoda heads.

So funny story about these. The shipping was super fast. I couldn't for the life of me remember what I had ordered. I didn't think it would be the ornaments. Opened the box in front of H and was all, "dammit!" So he got them before Christmas and they look awesome on the tree.

We didn't put up a tree this year (and haven't since…I can't even remember), but DH ordered this one for the ornament exchange at work.  I'm sure it won't get the appreciation it deserves.
