Trying to get out of one. Omg. I had signed up with a company last year and I bought the stuff I wanted, had a party or two and went to a few events, but over all the products were just too expensive for the area I live in. Good quality but you could go to any chain store and find a bigger selection. It was fun while it lasted.
I am having a hell of a time trying to get out. Every time I have a conversation with my leader about leaving, she dodges it all and comes back with "but wait until you see this!". I don't want to see "this!" I can wait until I don't hit the 3 month minimum goal and wait for them to boot me but I just want to wash my hands of it 100%, now.
So far I've been ignoring her, her phone calls, and her e-mails. Which is the most I can do since I'm not putting any money into it, but it is still there...lurking and waiting. (I still get all the e-mails, update information, account information, etc)
Word to the wise? Don't do it. Don't do it unless you know you'd have a big following in your area.
You need to be blunt. Tell her that you are no longer participating and to please stop contacting you about the program and remove your email address from her lists.
Just tell her, and when she says "wait until you see this" tell her you're sorry she misunderstood you, but you no longer want to be a part of the program, and you no longer wish to be contacted about it.
