Does anyone have a laundry closet instead of laundry room? If so, how do you organize it? Ours houses the washer, dryer, water heater, and heat pump so there's not a lot of room for storage except one shelf that is above the washer and dryer.

We also had a laundry closet with just a wire shelf over the washer/dryer. I got a free cabinet from a client and primed and painted it white, DH installed it. Now just waiting for him to install the two white shelves that will be next to the cabinet! I love having a cabinet to hide all of our cleaning stuff and put some linens in (we also don't have a linen closet).
We do but it just houses the washer and dryer. Currently it has a shelf across the whole back wall which I want to turn into cabinets and make into a linen closet since we are lacking one near the main bathroom.
This is the setup in the house we are moving to next week. I also want to add cabinets above the w&d, and some nicer shelving near the door to act as a linen closet.
We have a laundry closet. We have a laundry basket (one of the 3 pocket skinny ones) between our washer and dryer and then cabinets above. I would love to do something different with is, but dont really know what else to do... seems the cabinets are the best use of the space.

We have a laundry closet. There is just enough room for the W & D, with about 2-3" between and about a foot on one side. We also have a solid-material (wood or particle board or whatever) shelf above the W/D that spans the entire length of the wall. I keep the laundry detergent on one end of the shelf and the iron and other cleaning supplies on the remainder. Our mop, broom, mini ironing board (folded) and swiffer are in the 1' space on the side.
