I liked the daily hair repair for awhile. Moved on to different products once I started going to a non-aveda salon. My hair is so much better off their shampoo/conditioner. I also like the foam styling product... Pol something.
I use all of these and tailor what I use to how my skin looks that day as my skin goes through cycles of breakout to just oily to kinda normal. I've had most of them for 2+ years. They last a really long time and they still smell/work great. A little goes a long way.
Other products I love and use (I have course dry hair):
Rosemary mint body lotion Energizing & Calming body wash Foot relief & hand relief. Damage remedy hair mask Damage remedy spray tonic (I can't remember the name. You use it on wet hair before styling) Volumizing Tonic Light elements hair serum (the brilliance is good too, but a tad heavy on my hair. If you have very thick hair, it would be perfect) Air control hairspray The Be Curly line is really great for natural curl
I've never had good luck with the makeup and I've tried quite a bit of it. It's possible that they've improved the formulas or perhaps my skin is not compatible with it. Last time I checked they didn't have a straight liquid foundation. Only the tinted moisturizer (which leave my skin very slick) and the pressed powder/foundation. I do have the single pressed powder compact in my makeup bag in my purse for touch ups and it's perfect.
I worked for Aveda for 7 years... There is a little thing that looks like a jar with a number on it, near the bar code. That's the shelf life once opened. Most are 24 months after opening. If they stay sealed the shelf life is up to 4 years.
You'll know when they go bad. The smell is terrible.
I love their Light Elements Defining Whip, Phomollient, hand cream, and Roseymary Mint Shampoo/conditioner. When I had colored hair I also loved their color conserve shampoo.
I used to use more Aveda products but have switched to other brands, but their hand relief is the best hand cream. I love it and keep going back to it when others just aren't as good.
