How far along are you? 28 weeks 2 days
Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? Ugh not during pregnancy anymore. I did a 12-miler at 10 weeks and a 5k at 18, but haven't done much else. I've been having bad tailbone/butt cheek punching pain that really acts up when I move too much. I've been walking a couple of miles on Saturday mornings with a friend and I am hobbling at the end.
Post pregnancy I am planning on getting back into running ASAP. I was supposed to run MCM his year but deferred. I hoping I can do it 2014.
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? Hmm I don't know. In general it has so far been easier than I expected. I am fully expecting an awful delivery or baby since pregnancy wasn't bad. I do like feeling the baby move more consistently now.
Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? Pregnancy: I ran twin cities marathon at 8 weeks so I feel really happy about that. I just hope to stay as active as possible during pregnancy, but we've had some pretty nasty windchills lately, so for the last week my workouts have been confined to indoors. Post pregnancy: I hope to get active as soon as I can. We already have a BOB, and I hoping to get a lot of use out of it during the summer/fall before it gets too cold.
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? Feeling the baby move for the first time last week

If it helps at all...I was expecting the same thing. But, though my labor was long (29 hours, 2.5 hours of pushing) I'm pretty sure being in fairly good shape helped keep me from a c/s and contributed to my relatively easy recovery. And so far, AJ has been the easiest baby I could have hoped for. These things are such a crapshoot, but its possible to have an easy pregnancy, delivery, AND baby

Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? I had really hoped to run into the 3rd Tri, but I think my days are numbered. The past month I've been running slower and shorter distances. Eventually I'll hit 0 miles run lol. As I run/walk on the treadmill I've been debating at what point do I have stop calling myself a runner, and admit I'm power walking to the end.
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? I think the baby at the end will be the best part. I've had an easy pregnancy, but I'm not one of those women who LOVE pregnancy.
lauren170 and others who have worked out through pregnancy, did you buy different clothes to accommodate your growing bump?
I did buy some maternity yoga pants from destination maternity because my lululemon pants made my bump look lumpy and strange. I also had to buy some new tops because my boobs are spilling out of my old lululemon tanks. That will be a happy day when those tops fit again...
I hit up TJ Maxx and bought some inexpensive shorts and capris in a size up. For tops, I'd intentionally held on to some oversized dry-fit shirts I've received at races over the past couple years, specifically to wear during pregnancy. It was enough to get me to the very end.
I haven't- my tights end up under the bump so I just wear them still. I have a few really long tanks that still for so I alternate them. My vest I wear running outside in winter it starting to look stupid- it zips but only covers like half if my stomach- lol. I don't feel like replacing it at this time though since I can barely walk anymore and feel like my days are numbered.
Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? No goals during pregnancy. I've been able to keep up a decent workout routine so far, which I'm grateful for. Postpartum, I hope to get back in to decent running shape, but am not planning on any long races. It would be fun to work on my 5K/10K times next fall. I'm excited to go back to my weekly track group!
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? It has been nice to have a break from training. But I'll say having the baby at the end is probably the highlight for me. I don't hate being PG but I'll be glad when it's over!
I haven't had to buy anything yet, which is actually surprising to me. When I started getting a belly, I was sure I would outgrow my old stuff, but I'm still able to wear a couple of pairs of shorts and few of my capris/tights, I just push the waistband low under my bump in the front. And I have a few longer tanks and shirts that are probably starting to look ridiculous at this point, but they still work so whatever. I hope I'm not stretching them out too much, but oh well.
I've tried wearing my H's bigger shirts a few times but I have found that I just feel SO frumpy in baggy clothes while PG...I know it doesn't matter when you're working out, blah blah blah...but I feel so much more comfortable and better about myself in clothes that hug the bump.

How far along are you? 37 weeks today
Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? I fully intended to keep working out while pregnant, I NEVER in a million years would have thought I would be SO LAZY. The first tri killed me; I walked a lot during 2nd and the first part of 3rd tri... the walking has pretty much stopped at this point, for a few reasons. Mostly just excuses, no real good reason. But I am planning on starting to walk on the treadmill again. Walking around my neighborhood is dangerous, and there is the fact that I have to pee every 5 minutes, so getting to far from home is also a problem.
Post Pregnancy: I plan on getting back into running; I'm planning on running the Celebration Half in 2015, and probably a few other races next fall. I really don't know what to expect post-pregnancy.. I would like to do a 5k before it gets to hot again. We'll see.
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? I would not say I have enjoyed being pregnant. I haven't hated it as much as I thought I would, and up until last week it was pretty much smooth sailing. I've had a really easy pregnancy, but at this point I'm just done.. Now it's a wait and see game, and I do not do well with these types of things. I'm a planner, and I NEED to know when things are going to happen. Sitting around & waiting is making me insane. Poor Husband.
I bought a pair of compression capris at ON but that was it. I had a pair of shorts in my drawer that I had gotten back when I started getting in shape that were a little bigger and thus were able to accomodate my growing lower half, and my tanks and long sleeved tops were mostly long enough to cover my belly. The ON capris are still used quite a bit since I'm still carrying extra weight, so it was definitely worth it!

How far along are you? 10w4d We had a great 10 week check up this week and baby is super active, looked exactly like s/he was practicing swimming already We saw little legs kicking and could practically count finger buds on the little hands.
Do you have any h&f goals during pregnancy? Post pregnancy? Goals during pregnancy are to keep up a cycling base so that I can race the last session out at the track. Baby is due July 6th and racing starts mid August so I think I'll be okay. I can ride but I'd like to actually compete. We'll see.
What has been the thing you have enjoyed most about being pregnant? Nothing really yet. I don't like being pregnant, my body really doesn't like it. When I start feeling movement, I'll be a lot happier.

thanks guys! I snuck it in a post a few weeks ago
We just had our genetic testing done this week and I need all the fingers crossed that first, the baby is healthy (we have no reason to think otherwise) and second that we get the gender results back before Christmas!

OMG! So excited for you, the world needs more ginger babies!
Running has been a no go for me lately but hoping to pick it back up soon. Just been way to tired and sick.
Goal for during pregnancy is to get back out there. Still want to run/walk my scheduled races starting in January. Post pregnancy just lose the weight and focus on speed.
