this happened to me but with vitamins. post office said they were delivered, and I never got them. I complained, filed a report, and nothing ever happened.
I was actually told by a supervisor at the post office that my mail carrier was very honest and if he said it was delivered, then it was. Thus implying that I am not honest? It started my hatred of the post office. I may start a group
This happened to me once too. Tracking said it was delivered, never was. I called and got pretty much the same response as bigoleworm. If it says it was delivered then it was and there is nothing we can do for you (uh explain again why USPS is struggling so much). It ending up showing up 5 days later.

Yeah, I've had this happen too. My mail carrier is not very accurate in his deliveries and tends to leave things at the wrong house. When they scan the code that says it was delivered, there's no check to make sure it's actually delivered to the right place, aside from just assuming that the mail carrier knows where he is.
I also had a carrier randomly start leaving things inside a door we never use, on the side of the house, instead of in our mailbox or, you know, by the FRONT door. And since we never use that door, things would sit there for days until I thought to look there.
Call your post office. I've had that happen and it was "delivered" there and they were holding it for me. And once it was actually delivered but under my car(?).
Don't bother with the post office. Go directly to the website you ordered from and file a complaint with them. They will then out a tracer on the package, and file a claim with the carrier. Most likely, they'll send another out to you.
