I placed an order on the 5th, says left the carrier facility on the 6th. Hasn't had a tracking update since. It is being shipped FedEx, who is usually really good about updating their tracking.
It is coming from CA so maybe that is part of the delay? Though according to DH, who used to drive semis over the road, it is about 3 days to cross the country so not having a check in after 5-6 days is concerning.
I just want my damn tile so I can finish up our fireplace surround and hearth update. I am sick of looking at a half finished project. Plus we will be having a bunch of people over on the 24th and I had hope to have it finished by then.
UPDATE: So after no updates in the tracking since the 6th, my order shows up as having arrived in my town last night and is out for delivery this morning. I am so relieved. We may just get most of our lingering projects done before the party on the 24th. :Y:
I would contact them via chat and ask them to look into it. When was it supposed to be delivered?
Either yesterday or the day before was the original estimate. I checked this morning and now the date has changed to today. But no update on tracking info so I am thinking that probably won't be the case.
Well, I just called. Apparently since it was shipped FedEx Ground, they are not required to scan it at each step along the way. Boo! If it isn't delivered today, I need to call and open a ticket.
So send good thoughts that my 7 boxes of tile are not lost somewhere between CA and MI.
