I've been on the fence about which MZ Wallace bag to pick up. I know I want some color since most of my clothes are pretty neutral. I'm also looking for one that is a good purse that can also double as a medium cross-body for traveling.
I really like this color (red/cayenne), and the size is great for what I need it for (11" h, 6" w, 8" d). The only concern I have are the 2 straps in the front- I'm wondering if it'd be a pain to have to constantly "pull through" the front pockets... not that I'd need to every time, but still.
I think I would be in the same predicament. The size, straps, and color are great. That shade of red is actually more versatile than one would think. But I think I would get annoyed with the pull-through straps too. Have you looked at it in person? That would be the way that I would decide. If you loved it on your shoulder, then I would say yes.

I don't have an MZ Wallace store anywhere near me It looks great on that girl in the link- she looks petite and so am I. The other MZ Wallace bags have the zippered exterior pockets, which I think would be easier/more efficient, but then I wonder if I'll really "need" to pull the straps through?

I bet you'll love it. I see what you mean about pulling the straps through but it's probably not that big of a deal. I'm trying to go to the site but it won't let me right now. Other than the strap does the bag have a zipper to close the main compartment? to me that is the most important. I used a bag like this for my china travels and while it's doable without the zipper closure, I definitely wished it zipped shut because I felt like my stuff wasn't as secure.
