what shampoo/conditioner/styling products are you using? I feel like my hair get greasy so fast, I can't go longer than 2 days without washing it. I'm using Chi keratin shampoo, pureology hydrate conditioner and Unite leave in spray on the ends and then the Lazer straight lotion. I usually air dry.
I think it's my styling products that are the problem but I don't know what to use.
-Shampoo: Keratin Complex C-onditioner: Joico, which I don't love, or Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque (LOVE) -Styling: Kenra Volume 25 hairspray if needed
If I plan to curl it, I use It's a 10 leave-in spray before blowdrying. Do you really need the Lazer straight lotion? I've read that is a pretty heavy product, I wouldn't think that would be necessary on keratin treated hair.
Also, how long are you trying to go between washes? I don't go longer than 2 days either, but just b/c I don't want to.
I'd love to have the option to go 3 days between. I've been thinking the same about the lazer straight. You think a leave in by itself is enough? I was thinking of getting the it's a 10 Keratin leave in.
I think it probably would be enough. I've used the It's a 10 regular and Keratin leave-ins, and can't really tell a difference between the 2. Also, try spraying dry shampoo on your roots and brushing out when your hair is still clean. When I do this, it keeps my hair looking clean longer, but if I spray it on day-old hair it just makes it look dirty.
I recently purchased shampoo and conditioner from the renpure line. I wanted something cheaper than the coppola line I was using. I really like the renpure products and they are very budget friendly. They don't have any sulfates or salts so they are fine for keratin treated hair. I don't really need any styling product. My hair never gets greasy, though, so I am not sure if I am the right person to answer this question. I have the driest hair in the world. I could go a week and not see a drop of oil (but keep it to three days in between).

For deep conditioning, i use The Unnique Deep Repair Treatment kit. I first bought this product just to try it out since it was so expensive to get a keratin treatment in a salon. I have used this product for more then a year and a half now. I have my cousin do my treatment every 4 months and my hair looks great. It really eliminates the frizz especially on humid and rainy days. Make sure to use the proper shampoo and conditioner because it actually makes it last for about 4 months. Make sure not to saturate the hair all you need is a little bit. I have done it about 4 or 5 times already and it's only half way done. I would definitely recommend this and well worth it. www.unnique.com/en/unniquedeeprepair.html
