'tis the season for credit card fraud...luckily my credit union is awesome and most charges were declined except for 2 small ones. I did have a good laugh with the customer service rep over the beach bods charge when I told her I was 9 months pregnant. Luckily they are getting me a new cc by Friday at the latest.

That happened to both H and I last year around this time! They said it's common around Christmas because people are spending so much anyways that they let little things slip.
I can't wait until my doctor's appt this afternoon. I have been concerned about having a big baby since I found out I had GD and they checked the growth on the ultrasound yesterday. I am hoping for good news that I am still on track.
I had to go to our second office today, which is an hour drive.. That was rough. I peed right before I left, and I had to pee before I was even halfway to the office. Lame. I think we are seeing our last patient tomorrow, and then I'm officially on leave... except I'm still working from home.
I'm so ready for the weekend; even though I've spent this entire week working from home - I just want to lounge around all day w/o feeling guilty.

and also.. sex at 37 weeks..damn near impossible.
story of my life...i almost peed my pants last time i came back from the doctor's - there was so much traffic and i hit every red light!
i am too exhausted to have sex, but i know DH wants to...i dunno quite how it will work either lol.
I had a terrible day yesterday and spent most of it crying. My sugar wouldn't come down and I felt so guilty. My doctor keeps telling me I'm in the height of my insulin resistence for this pregnancy, so logically I know it's not really my fault but I feel so guilty anytime I eat anything. For once I'd like to eat something (anything!) without worrying how high my sugar is going to go up and how I'm going to hurt my baby.
I've been doing data entry at work all week and I'm about to gouge my eyes out.
I finally feel like I look legit pregnant and it's making me really happy anytime I look in a mirror. I love the bump.

eta: aaaaaaaaaaand my sugar is 310. F.M.L.
I think the data entry is really why your sugar is high. That crap is enough to make every part of your body rebel. I hate data entry too. I hope your sugar comes down, but don't worry, I'm sure you're baby will be perfect
lol. That must be it!!
Thanks I just looked over my numbers for the past week or so and they're actually not bad, just the last two days or so I shouldn't worry quite yet. It's just the mommy guilt starting already. He's been perfectly fine at every ultrasound yet, which is good.

Hugs @utahlove13, that is so tough about your sugars! Just keep following up with the Dr. and doing the best you can. You are already and excellent mom. Pregnancy is just SO much pressure and worry in any circumstances without adding the diabetes. Sending you happy sugar thoughts.
My right foot is freakishly swollen; my left foot is sorta swollen, but not as bad.
Weird
Did you sit on that foot or cross your legs at all? Anything that would cut off circulation in that one foot? If not I would call bc it can be a sign of a blood clot or preeclampsia. Happened to me too but turned out to be nothing.

Nope.
Great. I guess ill call. I do not want them to send me to the hospital ..
Eta: I called. Dr is not concerned- I took my BP manually & with an automatic machine and they were both good.. So I guess I'll just keep sitting here with my feet up.

My feet sometimes swell up (it's sexy), but I talked with my doctor about this. She said to watch your sodium intake. She asked if I ate cheese. I'm not giving up cheese, no.
Drink lots of water during the day too. I find that my swelling goes down after drinking a lot.
But one foot? Is it way different than the other foot?
Cheese. I eat a shitload of string cheese. Lol.
It's noticeably different. I can poke my right ankle and the indention stays.

try elevating it higher than your heart and drinking lots of water to see if it goes away.
My feet have been swelling since I have been on them a lot. I really need to up my water intake.
My work Christmas party is tonight and its going to be lame. We just had a major change in staff and I'm not good with small talk without drinks and most of my favorite people aren't going.
Oh and I signed up for Precious Additions through HBCBS and they declined my claim for the $50 reimbursement for taking a prenatal class. Luckily I called and 10 mins later it was fixed, but I swear they just do that in hopes you don't actually call.

I absolutely love the movie Love, Actually, so when I saw it's on AMC, I had to turn it on. That may have been a mistake. So far, I've teared up at the opening scene in the airport, the wedding when "All You Need Is Love" starts to play, and pretty much every other scene.
And then I got to the funeral scene. Oh god, the funeral scene.
Damn pregnancy hormones. I'm going to have to find something else to watch tonight. At least now I know to skip my annual tradition of watching it Christmas day.
