I will always love Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, even though it is way, WAY overused in commercials (like everything else that is good.)

I'm predictable. I like the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The girls think it sounds like a funeral dirge; I think it sounds like a jewelry box.

Aww, we just took DD to see the Nutcracker last weekend. We went last year too. I hop it sticks and becomes an annual family tradition. We also watched Fantasia today. I'd say the tea dance is my favorite, followed by the Russian dance and the toy flutes. The pas de duex is my favorite dance portion of it though.

Mine is the Arabian dance overall, but I love watching the Russian dancers too.

Arabians and Russians, the King Rat, and Sugar Plum Fairies. I LOVE The Nutcracker. I learned the Arabian dance in high school and see it every year at my local ballet. Or well, used too. I won't be seeing it this year.

I've seen The Nutcracker probably 2 dozen times, and it never gets old.

My entire dance studio did the Nutcracker one year. I was part of the Russian dance, and to this day can still remember the routine when I hear the music.
