t's my first month trying these wondofo ovulation test strips...
I am a little confused - mine came with no instructions.
I understand how to read the tests now, but I am not sure when I am supposed to take them and how often. I am expecting to ovulate this week, according to my chart on my period tracker, and also from the ovulation cramps I am getting that I always get.
I've been testing every morning and so far nothing. Should I be testing more than once a day? I feel like I am wasting tests...
Test multiple times a day - Some people find their surge the best in the AM, others in the afternoon or evening. You can test 3x a day and do morning, noon, night - or pick 2 times that work best.

I usually start testing around CD 10 and do 2-3 times a day. Usually my first test is late morning. If you have a short surge it could be really easy to miss if you only test once a day.
With my daughter we just stopped using birth control and got pregnant immediately. It's been 10 months now and I am starting to get frustrated.
It seems more overwhelming than it really is. I use Wondfos and I usually test 2-3 times a day. (2 at first but when I start getting closer I use them 3 times) It's really not as much of a pain in the ass as it seems.
Just put a stack of dixi cups and a handful of wondfos by your toilet (I keep mine in a tampon box) so they're there whenever you need to test.

I do this. I test whenever I have decent pee. If I know that I drank a lot of water and that my urine will be diluted, I'll skip testing that bathroom trip. I also don't test at work bc it's too inconvenient.

I'm not even certain I am testing at the right time of my cycle.
According to my fertility tracker app, I should ovulate on Thursday, so I have been testing all week. I had EWCM on Sunday and Monday, and what I have always thought were ovulation cramps ( I get them every month) all week long. Still no positive test.
Last night my DH told me his co worker is pregnant. She just got married 3 months ago, and is 3 months pregnant. It's one of those marriages everyone knows is doomed from the start. I cried and got all bitter betty over the fact that she got pregnant on the first try and we are almost a year in with nothing. This week sucks.
I would suggest dumping the fertility tracker app..it has no idea when you are "due" to ovulate. If you want to confirm ovulation, you should chart your BBT as well as use the OPKs. FWIW I use OPKs with FMU and then in the evening and catch my surge each time.

The first cycle I used them I started on cd 10 and tested with FMU (meh, I forget if I don't do it first thing in the morning and I've never missed a surge)... And didn't get a positive until cd 18. I'd keep testing it out.
The fertility tracker app isn't really doing you much good because even if your cycles have always been 28 days, you could be, say, Oing on day 18 with a 10 day LP. I don't think it's necessary to chart bbt but it does help you figure things out.
I started using wondfos last cycle and found it to be much easier than I anticipated. I started testing at CD12 with F or SMU (whichever was more convenient), and again when I came home from work. I was able to see my surge quite easily.
As others have said, dump the fertility tracker app and start charting your BBT on FertilityFriend.com. It requires way less effort than I thought it would and it makes me feel really good to actually know what my body is doing.
If you aren't sure when you ovulate.. how long are your cycles usually? Fertility Tracker apps are worthless unless you are using FertilityFriend and tracking your temperatures. My cycle lengths range between 26-35 days and I begin OPKs on CD10.

This. If you absolutely don't want to temp (which I recommend for at least a few months until you find your norm), then you should be using WONDFOs (no extra "O") twice a day from about CD8 until you have had positives that turned to negatives. When I don't temp for a cycle, I use OPKs until my period starts to make sure I don't have a fake out surge. I have had a surge with no O twice before.
