Ours, too. I've almost fell out of it a few times and when David was younger, I was so, so, so scared he was going to fall out of it, I'd always put him between me and H. My little brother fell of of my dad's bed when he was six months old, fell on a glass and almost died.

The top of our bed hits right at my waist. It was fun getting in and out of bed when I was towards the end of my pregnancy!

This was our bed when I was pregnant with DD1. It actually went to my mid-chest. I had to get a step stool to get on it in the last month of pregnancy.
DH made the frame and it had 4 drawers in it, thus the height. But man, that sucked trying to get in/out while huge.
