It's been renewed for next season so I'm guessing they felt like they couldn't keep that story line going any more.

This season in general was really boring and I lost interest. Now with Brody gone (tear) I don't know if I have a desire to keep watching next season. This is the only finale I haven't been like ahh I can't wait till next season.

I thought for sure they'd figure out a way to save him at the last minute, because what's the show without him? I agree that it felt like they were ending the show for good, and I have no idea where they'll take it next year.

I cannot believe they killed him but I'm actually kind of happy they did. I'm not sure what else he could have done on the show at this point.

I'm interested to see what will happen with Carrie and Saul being split up.

I have to wonder too if the creators weren't sure if they were going to get picked up at the time they were writing it. It could end here or continue on.

I read somewhere that in the original pilot Brody was supposed to get killed, then it got pushed back to the first season, and I guess until now. He was never intended to be a long term character.

I really dont know how Carrie is going to do as a mom. I think she'll keep the baby but I dont know how she'll do it alone, away from family in Turkey.

I think Quinn is really good for Carrie. I'm actually surprised at how their relationship has developed. I would like for him to go to Istanbul so they can still be friends. I dont see them hooking up though

Oh do people know what Brody did in Iran? I couldn't determine if he got public credit for that. I doubt it but I wish his family could have an easier time and put some of this behind them. I hope they know what happened at least, I dont know.

It didn't sound like the CIA was going to publicly/officially give him credit for what he did because of the star conversation.

Shit. I just watched it. I can't believe they actually killed Brody. I mean, I knew it was going to happen, but shit. That stung more than I thought it would.
