If you remember your first few months on birth control

How long is break through bleeding normal? The last time I started bc I was 18.

I'm in my first month, almost done with my third week if pills, and I never stopped bleeding when my period should have stopped. It's light, but annoying.

My dr office said after 3 months if it keeps up they will switch my pill. Three months?? Fuck.

I think 3 months is normal, but I have never experienced it at all on the BCP. It might also depend on what pill you are on.

I have started bc after a break or switched brands a ton and I always have break through bleeding. I usually have it through the first pack and depending on the pill into the second. I have never had it last into the third.

I had breakthrough bleeding until I started a tri-phasic pill. It was a pain in the ass.

I had it on every pill I ever tried, probably about 5 different kinds. Nuvaring was the only thing that stopped it, but even then I would sometimes get very very light spotting for a day or two mid cycle.

This is the same pill I used pre baby. I hope it stops soon. I was very happy on it in the past.
