I ordered an item for Christmas off Etsy on December 10th. In the item description it says, "Ready to ship in 1-3 business days". So if we don't count Dec 10th, it should have shipped out on Dec 11-Dec 13. I emailed the seller on Dec 15th asking about the progress of the item. I still haven't heard back. I'm going to email them again today and hope they get back to me this time. I'm getting antsy because I need the item by Saturday. The seller says they use 2-day priority shipping, so as long as they ship it by Thursday it should be fine. Ugh.
Oh no. I hope you hear back today and get your item on time!
I've never bought anything on Etsy before, but I don't think I will after reading all of the bad stories here.
Thanks! The funny thing is, I've ordered several times from different sellers on Etsy and have had nothing but success. The seller I bought this item from has a 5-star rating too, I never would have anticipated an issue.

I brought my SS gift from Etsy and they shipped my gift super fast. I had the same experience with other sellers I brought some items from. Not all sellers are the same.
But that sucks! Are they on vacation or do they have bad reviews as far as shipping on time? I hope you are able to get through!
I've sent messages to a few etsy sellers over the past couple weeks asking about turn around time on items I wanted to order and every single person quoted a much longer turn around time than was stated in the item description due to the holidays. I do hope your item is on time!

They really need to put an update on their store when this happens. I've had so much success with etsy, and only one flop, but it was a big flop and it makes all the etsy sellers look bad because people attribute the problem to etsy as a whole, not just whatevershopnamethe16yoknitterthatsucksatlifehad.
