I had thought about doing it when I was younger, but never did because of work.
Now that I don't have to worry about dress code lol, the idea sometimes crosses my mind, but I don't think I could pull it off now. Plus, I worry about having to do the bleach and color or whatever is involved.
But I was just curious about your opinions on them. And if you've had them, what did you like or dislike about them?
*I'm talking about highlights that are underneath the hair and peek out a little, so they're more subtle. Kinda like the pic below, except with dark purple or burgundy highlights:
intentionalsnarkshark you can pull it off and look amazing, cause you have that cool style about you. I, personally, would look like a mom dork who's trying too hard haha!
@astrid yeah, that's one of the reasons why I haven't. My hair is very dark. I only have one pic on my phone that I posted the other night, but it shows my hair: (please don't quote)
polka, there's nothing that could possibly make you look like a "mom dork" unless you were wearing ill-fitting, baggy, bootcut jeans and stepping out of a minivan with an arm full of Capri Suns.
NO OFFENSE MEANT TO THE CAPRI SUN DRINKERS!!!!!
You could totally pull this off. But you would definitely have to bleach out your hair to do it. Not the worst thing in the world, but it can be a bit damaging so it's something to consider.
Omg that was you watching me this morning? I thought I saw a pair of nipples eyes peeking through the bushes.

My one girlfriend does the clip ins on a pretty regular basis. She doesn't like bleaching her hair anymore (although it is already plenty damaged from years of dyes) and she often matches her colour to her outfit, or doesn't bother to put them in when she's wearing a ponytail of whatnot.
I think it looks awesome, and she took them into her hairdresser to have them cut in with her hair so they look very natural. They also do not fade.

I've always wanted to do this, but I am a big chicken and am afraid I'll look dumb. Therefore, I vote do it! You are gorgeous and could totally pull it off.
