I'm trying to figure out what to get my BFF here as a going away gift (well i'm the one going away, but i want to get her something). I bought a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses last week. She found a pair she liked but is too cheap to pay full price for them. I was going to get them for her, but she found them on eBay...so there went that idea. I wasn't completely in love with that idea, but it was going to work. I want something a little more personal. I'm looking on etsy for maybe a piece of jewelry but not really sure what I want to get.

Do you ladies have any good ideas? Maybe I'll just go with the heart necklaces that one part says Best and the other half says Friends...kidding

If you go on Tiffany's online there is some cute stuff for around $100...maybe a bracelet, something she could wear everyday. That little blue box makes everyone feel special.

I feel like Tiffany's gets overdone...

Me and my best friend have a saying.. So I got us these bracelets and our saying engraved in it.. It came out really nice

Also any inside jokes? Or "things" you could make a little gift basket with only things that might make sense to her.. Yeah it might not be "grown" up but it will touch her heart

we went on a girls trip to Mexico last year and she got the six of us that went bracelets with our nicknames on them and Mexico April '11 on them. They are awesome but already been done.

I was trying to think of some inside jokes and "things" unique to us and I'm not coming up with any. I am sure we have a ton, but I am not good at thinking of things like that. Von Maur near my office sells the dogeared jewelry so I am going to stop by after work and look at them there.
