It was 75 degrees here Thursday. The ugly xmas sweater party turned into a carry your sweater in your hand because it was so hot. But I live in Houston so it's not completely unexpected.
It is going to be 58 here today. Intermittent pouring rain, we have a leak where our family room roof and the main part of the house connect. We had a new roof put on quite awhile ago and we've had problems since. Called the roofing company, they will get back to us....
All our beautiful snow melted off and it looks like a green Christmas for us.
I'll definitely give you that! We had a storm yesterday and another one tonight with freezing rain tomorrow. But I'll take that all the time over tornadoes!

It hit 78 this morning before a storm blew through. It's dropped about 10 degrees so far, and should be in the 30's tonight. Texas weather is so weird.

I will say that I don't think I'd like warm/hot weather at Christmas. I have just grown up with cold, white Christmases.
But I would happily take 50 or so degrees. And I would not mind the odd day above 70 especially during Jan. and Feb. when everything is so dark and dreary.
I went out for lunch in flip-flops, lol. It's seventy degrees here!! Luckily I think we're supposed to just get ordinary thunderstoms and high winds, so mostly I'm just worried about our Christmas light- up flamingo outside. He's not so sturdy, lol.

I hear ya, LHC. I wanted to bake cookies tonite, but it's already too stinkin' hot in here. Plus, I'm afraid the electricity will go out in the middle of the baking. The thunder, and sporatic bursts of rain, and flickering lights are ominous.
