Is anyone or anything pissing you off today?
I have about had it with a local furniture company here. We bought most of our new furniture for the house from them last year. First, they delivered a sectional but did not hook it together. Then the ottoman that came with it had a tear in the fabric. They came back, picked it up, brought it back "repaired" except the fabric was the wrong color. Finally they got that right.
We ordered a chaise last Oct. This Sept we notice a tear in the fabric. They come out and look at it, tell us it was their fault, it was upholstered incorrectly. They will order new fabric to reupholster it which will take 6-8 weeks.
Oct and Nov come and go--no call. We call their service dept. numerous times, but no one can tell us anything and never calls us back. Finally someone says, "Oh, the order has been placed but we never got the fabric. I should check into that." Yeah, no shit.
So FINALLY beginning of Dec.--now three months since this all started--the fabric is in and they can pick up the chaise for repair. We schedule it for last Saturday; the woman I spoke with tells me they should have it back to us within the week.
On Wed., we call to get a status update and make sure they actually received the chaise and to get an ETA on the repair. The woman says she has to check into it and will call us back. Of course, no call back. So today I call and ask for a manager. He goes to find out what's going on and it never got keyed into their computer correctly, so it is sitting there un-repaired, a week later. Supposedly, they will be working on it today and tomorrow to get it back to us ASAP. I am going to be leaving so many negative reviews of this place when this whole debacle is over and our chaise is fixed. Unfortunately, I have no faith that it will be fixed properly or with the right fabric. Sigh.

Yesterday, I got an email that the gift I ordered for DH a week ago (and had a confirmation email for) was 'not captured' by the system and thus never processed and wasn't coming. I got online and it was still in stock and they had overnight/2 day shipping options. I wanted to make sure it would go through this time so I called customer service... After 20 min on hold, I talk to a rep who is in no way friendly or apologetic at all, whatever. (She says it was a glitch in their system) I tell her my concern is ordering all over, getting a confirmation email and then nothing happening again. I ask if it would be better for me to order directly through her or just do it online and her super condescending answer was 'you have the same internet I do' - really. Ummm, thanks? I hung up after that.
Now anytime DH or I ask each other a google-able question, we just respond with 'you have the same internet I have'

Food you ever talk to a supervisor? In pretty non confrontational, but that kind if stuff gets me "turnt up" (as my students would say)
I'm sending an email today to their customer service dept. - I should have asked yesterday but I was pretty over it at that point. I had stepped away from doing gingerbread decorating with DS to try to get it re-ordered quickly (it's what DS is 'getting' DH so if if didn't show he wouldn't have anything to give him) and just wanted to get back.

I hate when I have outstanding checks. There are a couple bills that do not take electronic payment, so we have to pay by mail, and I often forget when looking at our account that those haven't been cashed, so I get excited and think we have more money than we do.
I'm trying to nap, and the cat is pacing around the bed. She's rubbing her teeth on my eyebrow or shoving her ass in my face or flopping around on the pillow and my head. I've tried to kick her off, but she yells and bites me. And if I kick her out of the room, she will scream at the door.
What a dick. I'm trying to ignore her, in hopes she gets bored.
