Even though they softened the real story (how crazy P.L. Travers was and how much she hated the actual movie), it was a great feel good movie.

Yeah I had wondered about that. I read this review: www.vulture.com/2013/12/saving-mr-banks-pl-travers-fact-check-mary-poppins.html
and was a little disappointed about Walt not being all puppies and rainbows like I like to believe him to be.

To be fair you don't typically build something as big and successful as Disney from nothing while being all puppies and rainbows.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was outstanding. Highly recommend! I thought the wove of the story of her childhood with the making of the movie incredibly well. It was a beautifully made and acted movie.

I really enjoyed it too. Definitely emotionally manipulative but really well-acted and a great story
