My poor dog..

I'm at the vet with her, she is a 14 year old Jack Russell. Last night she was having a really tough time. She drinks water constantly and pees constantly all over the house. She has labored breathing. I am exhausted from being up with her all night long. I'm trying hard not to cry in front of the doctor. DH doesn't want me to spend a dime on her right now because we are so strapped for cash.

I'm so mad I just applied for the care credit card and got approved. Fuck you DH, I am not letting my dog suffer.

Well she has kidney stones, some sort of infection in her lungs and an enlarged liver. We will know more when we get her blood and urinalysis back on Monday. Poor thing. The doctor does not think this is life ending though and with the right antibiotics, food adjustment and some liver enzyme pills she could be good as new.
