Our front room is missing its overhead fixture. It was designed to be a dining room, but we're using it as a music room. Here's two views so you can see wall color and room layout.
The original owners had a beautiful Tiffany style pendant, which I thought was gorgeous, but unfortunately they took it with them. I think I would like something similar (but am open to suggestions).
Our room is 13x14, so I think I need a fixture 27" or so in diameter. I was hoping to spend $300-400 or less, but I suppose for the perfect fixture I could go higher.
I love this one, but it's way over budget and a bit too big.
So who can help me internet shop? I've never bought lighting anywhere except Lowe's/Home Depot type places and am not finding a ton by Googling. Thanks!

Thanks, kaylie! This is the problem I'm having. I can't seem to find the right diameter. The one you posted is beautiful, though. Do you think I need more blue d/t the color of the room?

Thanks, everyone! Lots of good ideas. Keep 'em coming! prazenjc, I will have to widen my search. I've been limiting myself to bluish tones. You're right about complimentary colors, though. I feel like such a D&R beginner sometimes!
Question: How did they get away with taking the light fixture? Typically those are included in the sale of a home?
We took two ceiling fans with us when we sold our home. We included it in the exclusions in the listing. We gave the buyers a price limit on what we'd spend replacing ceiling fans and let them choose the replacements though. Worked out well for everyone.

Well, it was a foreclosure. The original listing (short sale) showed the light fixture (and the SS fridge and microwave), but by the time we saw the house, those things were gone. The MLS pics for the foreclosure didn't have those things, so we weren't surprised. I am surprised that they left the wine fridge and beer taps, LOL!

AHH! This makes sense. I was all "How did that even happen???" But I get it now.
I like the fixture kaylie and prazenjc mentioned, personally.

I like it, too, but it's too small, unfortunately. Only 20". It's hard to find 27" ones! Maybe slightly smaller, like 25", would be OK. Several of the ones posted were that size.
