I started my lovely saturday morning off my throwing up from coughing so much due to all of my congestion and mucus drainage. I find it kinda funny that I made it through all of the first trimester without puking once from morning sickness and now in second tri I'm puking once or twice a week because I have so much drainage. My obgyn told me thursday to try a different routine and see if it helps - sinus squeeze bottle in the morning, zyrtec in afternoon, and maybe add mucinex. I guess it could be worse and I could be feeling awful - other than being congested I feel good these days.
We are hopefully finding out the gender tomorrow! We are going to an elective u/s place to see if they can tell the gender yet. I really hope we find out because I want to start shopping!
I'm off until Jan 2 and couldn't be happier about it!
I'm hopefully working a half day today then I have TWO days off! It's a miracle! My inlaws come today so were finally going to open presents. I think we're spending the next two days painting our house. You all should see this painting mask I got myself.
Staying home today hopefully doing laundry, sweeping, and mopping the kitchen and living room. I may skip church tomorrow b/c there is a nasty virus going around that I don't want.
Last night we had one of my coworkers over for dinner and he brought us the Snugapuppy swing from our registry! So generous! Tonight is sil's engagement dinner and working on the nursery Sunday.

I'm currently waiting in a dentists office. My husband is having his wisdom teeth removed. His appointment was at 8 and it's 8:50 and hasn't been called back yet. So I'm probably going to have to cancel my hair appointment for later today.
I use a sinus rinse squeeze bottle instead of the neti pot since you get more pressure with the squeeze bottle. I use the squeeze bottle every morning and it does help, there's just so much mucus up there that even with taking zyrtec I'm pretty miserable, especially in the mornings. The doctor at urgent care told me to use the squeeze bottle twice a day, but it was drying my nose out so bad that it was bleeding too much. My obgyn wants me to try squeeze bottle in the morning, zyrtec in afternoon, and possibly mucinex.
H is working today and our doxie hurt himself pretty bad yesterday. I have no idea what he did, but he was having trouble walking. It's not a slipped disc (thank baby Jesus) but he's been passed out in my lap all afternoon from the cortisone shot the vet gave him. So, I'm just hanging out and snuggling with the dogs. Once H gets home, we might go to the grocery store.
We were out of town all week last week and apparently my one of my cats is feeling extra needy. She was sleeping on our bed when we went to bed so we let her stay there (they normally get kicked out of our room at night because they walk all over us). A couple of hours later, she tried to climb up on MH's face so he put her out of the room. Apparently she did not want to be out of the room because she yowled every half hour from 3 AM until 7 AM this morning. Finally H got up and put her in kitty jail, aka the spare bedroom, so we could get a couple of hours of sleep. Ugh. I guess this is good practice for having a newborn though, huh.
@utahlove13 I hope your pup is ok. We will have to monitor our dog from now on since she had surgery. I hope the shot helps and he is fine after that!
Thanks! He seems to be doing better today. Yesterday he couldn't even get comfortable or lay down for longer than a few seconds. Today he's running around and jumping off the damn couch (behind my back, the little jerk). He's a daschund so I was super worried about spinal problems but thank goodenss it seems like he just strained his back or something.
