How was your weekend?

We played with some of the new toys,rode the new bikes and scooters, ran some errands and tidied up. It went way too fast. I wasn't ready for DW to go back to work today. I like having back-up :-)

We really didn't do much. We got to spend some time with friends who were in town from DC. That was nice but hearing K and our friends discuss politics reminds me just how badly she needs out of her current job and out of this town.

It was a super lazy weekend. We did get all of the christmas decorations down (YAY!), and get to play outside 1 day (thanks to the gorgeous weather), and read a TON.

I was (and am) sick. We went to the ILs' on Friday and I slept most of Saturday, except when I got up to eat and for presents. We came home late yesterday. I wish I didn't have to work and could stay home and rest, but really I'm bummed because I have a 5k on Wednesday and I have a feeling it's not going to go well, if I'm able to do it at all.

My H had to work and it's frigid here so we didn't do much. I took the boys to the mall today to walk around. Played with the doggie. Pretty quiet weekend.
