Hey girls! I haven't been on here in so long and really want to start checking this board again frequently! I miss everyone!
My twins were born Dec 6 so they are a little over 3 weeks old now. We are doing well. Just still getting used to the fact that my entire day is spent feeding them or preparing to feed them! I still feel like I have tons to learn about.... Everything!!!
If anyone ever wants to visit and meet them, feel free, seriously!
I will keep checking our board (glad it's just one board now!) and will tty all soon!

Natalie Vanessa and Nathan Phillip. My csection was originally scheduled for 12/18, when I would have been 38 weeks, but my dr wanted them to be delivered earlier. So we had 2 days notice that they'd be arriving 12/6! Can't complain though, we still had notice. Nathan was 5 pounds even and Natalie was 5.3. They are little! Luckily no nicu time. They have been doing really well. It's still a lot to get adjusted to though, going from just the 2 of us to the 4 of us!
I felt the exact same way! I was either feeding someone or getting ready to feed someone or I was finishing feeding someone! I'm glad that they didn't have any nicu time!

Yep, exactly, it's overwhelming! And just when I get a little feeding schedule set up, something disrupts it!
Oh Lauren I'm so happy you have your babies and they are healthy and home with you! They are just gorgeous from the pics I've seen in Facebook! Girl I'm overwhelmed with feeding one baby, I can't imagine 2. Really. Well I guess I'm feeding 2 because I have Amelia and she has 3 meals and 2 snacks which requires cooking and cleaning each time. But feeding the baby is much harder because their little bellies are so unpredictable. Plus whatever you put in comes out so fast it seems in vain sometimes. But soon you will start seeing then really grow and even though it won't seem like it at the time, it will get fun and it will go by fast. Come in with any questions. This place has been invaluable for me.
Wait, was there an open invite in there? I'm totally coming over. Maybe next week? Lily will be back in school. I want some newborn snuggly goodness. I will get in touch with you. :-)

Congrats on the two little ones. I am in aw of any mom with twins....like Sara said, one was overwhelming for me at times. I'm glad to hear they are healthy and at home with you.
Congrats again, Lauren! Love the pics I've seen on Facebook. Hope you're able to settle into a routine soon! IMO, the first 3 months or so are just survival mode anyway so go easy on yourself.
Did you have a c-section or did they induce you (just out of curiosity -- as long as the girls tolerated labor, I was labored, and I was able to deliver the girls vaginally even thought they were emergency induction.)
