6 months. I didn't renew my scrip in June, and we had a trip to Europe planned for October. No way in hell was I going to Paris unable to eat unpasteurized cheese or drink red wine.
I had my non-hormonal Paraguard IUD out and got pregnant two weeks later. But the pregnancy never really developed and I miscarried at 8 weeks. My NP said it could have had something to do with getting pg so quickly, so she recommends waiting one full cycle after going off bc. It might be a good idea.
DD1: zero. We went straight from BC to TTC. I was all worried my cycle would be screwed up, but I O'd the first cycle in a normal timeframe, and got a BFP the second cycle.
DD2: about three months. My BCP was causing me lots of spotting and so I just stopped it and we used condoms for a few months. Again, two cycles to BFP once we started TTC.
I stopped BC at the end of December with the intent to start trying in April. I started taking prenatal vitamins as soon as I stopped the pill. We got pregnant in May. We thought it would take longer (based on friends and family having so many issues, which I know has zero to d with me), but were pleasantly surprised.

Pregnant while using condoms? (Yes i know they aren't 100% accurate im just curious)
I took that to mean she was using condoms as their birth control, and it took 3 months once they stopped using condoms.

With it DD it was immediate. I went off BC and got pregnant right away. I was sure I would need time for my cycles to regulate, so it was a bit of a shock.
I never went back on BC between DD and this pregnancy. We used condoms some, but mostly just watched my cycles and avoided during peak fertility. It took us 8 months to conceive this time, but we weren't really trying nor were we avoiding. It was more of a we will see what happens type thing.
6-8 months?? I can't really remember but I was on the pill and wanted to give my body time to readjust, etc.. So we waited a month to start (we used condom's until we were ready)
I know I asked this on *gasp* thebump/the nest, but I a)forgot what people said and DH and I are talking about it tonight b)I don't want to go over there.
I was off for almost a year. I had some issues, my doc said go off for a bit, and I knew we were going to start relatively soon so the hormonal hassle of going back on wasn't worth it for me.
If it hadn't happened I would have gone off 1-3 months before TTC.

I was getting the depo shot. Last year my doctor changed me to the pill so that I could try to get my cycles back (I had been on it for years). It took 7 months for my period to come back. When I asked my doctor/her nurse what I have to do when we want to start ttc, I was told to take the whole last pack of pills and then wait 1 month before we start ttc.

Ooops, I guess that was confusing. I meant I stopped BCP three months before TTC, and we used condoms as BC for those months, with no failure.
Then when we stopped using them and were actually TTC, it took two cycles.
