What helps you the most? I recently had blood work done because for the past year the fatigue is at most times unbearable. I have vitamin b&d deficiencies, low iron, very low estrogen (I'm 31), and very very high cortisol (stress) level. It's so high I've been doing other testing also. I have started the vitamins so hopefully that will help. Also may start yoga to help with the stress. I have a 3 year old and twin 2 year old girls and stay home with them.
Any tips you may have for fighting your daily fatigue? I also have a sprained rotator cuff from the every day lifting, in and outs of car seats and strollers with the girls. My body is just dragging right now. Thanks!
The vitamins (all of which I was deficient in as well) did help but it takes a few weeks/month to really adjust to the right levels in your blood. Give it time. My thyroid was also off (it's fine now) and that made a difference.
I would find out what the root of the problem is. I was anemic and always tired (like falling asleep ALL the time) and I found out that I had/have celiac. It took me over a year to start feeling better but I am so glad that I finally figured out what the problem was rather than just hearing "oh you're stressed that's all!" all the time.
Some things that helped me while I recovered:
-Being consistent with when I get go to bed and get up. -Getting at least 8 hours of sleep -Limiting alcohol and sugar -Drinking lots of water
I hope they figure out what's going on and hope you feel better soon!
My D was low and in August I started supplements. It took about a month or so but I've never felt better now. I was napping all the time and chronically exhausted. Hopefully your vitamins will help you out soon as well.
Also I started a new workout class 3-4xs a week and am more diligent about exercising which has benefited my energy level tremendously. Still working on eating better since I know all the junk I eat isn't helping oops.
