So they're pitching that Hank may land somewhere on the autism spectrum? Is that why he's been hanging out while the love interest that brought him into the show moves on (kinda not really)? 

And I'm only 30 minutes in, but no Amber? Nothing? 

Zeke's storyline sans wife is sad.

Julia and Joel's storyline is bumming me out.

After his friend suggested that, and they showed him on the computer, I totally thought that's what he was doing. 

I prefer Drew with Amy rather than the sex girl who won't commit. And I liked that Amy apologized for the way she ended their relationship.

I was also disappointed Zeke didn't buy a plane ticket! I do think it showed some growth he started talking to that guy at the diner. At the same time though, I don't think Camille had initially invited Zeke to Italy.

The Joel and Julia situation is so hard to watch. I think it would take them a long time to move past everything that's happened.

I like Drew and Amy together. I don't really agree with her staying and not heading back to Boston (?) for classes, but that's what young people do.

Well, I don't remember everything these characters have ever said, so my comments are based on how I remember the storyline playing out. But even if that is what happened, then I still think she could have invited him since she was planning on going either way and was going to be gone for several weeks.

That was brought up when Camile wanted to sell the house so that they would have had money to travel. And maybe she wanted him to ask to come with. You know not think about just himself.

I agree that this is why she didn't invite him. But, I still found it a little cold because after that conversation, Zeke had tried to show her a little flexibility (agreeing to go see the condo, and he tried to be open minded about it, although it was clear it wasn't his cup of tea). I felt like, in light of that, Camille should've said, "hey, I've already committed to Italy with my art class. I'd love for you to come, but I understand if you don't want to." Or something. 

All this said by someone who thinks Zeke is usually an ass.

I feel like Zeek thinks he's doing this, but misses the point most of the time.  Like building the fire pit-- my interpretation is that the gesture shows just how much he doesn't get where Camille is coming from. She wants a living situation with fewer obligations and money to travel, but he thinks it's about the fire pit.  It would be like saying you want to visit the Louvre and having your husband bring you a post card of the Mona Lisa-- she didn't want a fire pit, she wanted a new life style, but he is trying to tack on some of the details in their own life.  Other people saw the scene differently (as a sign that he does care), but that was my feeling.
With that in mind, I can see why Camille didn't extend the invitation to Italy.  She had talked about travel, he wasn't into it, so she decided not to drag him along. If they went as part of the art thing, what would he do all day? Would he really be independent or just drag her down?  Would he want her to skip side trips in favor of some half-assed substitute?
i do feel bad for Zeek, but I think Camille made the right call in the end. Hopefully, Zeek is starting to see that what he wants (Camille to.come home) may not be what he needs to let her do (stay a week).

I still really love this show, even if some of the characters are maddening sometimes.

There is no way in hell I would have invited Zeke, if I was Camille. I think she really needed this time for her. With that said, now that she's had it, I might have invited him for the extended part she's now asking to take. Sort of a , "Hey, I've had my time & it was amazing, but come here now. I'd love to share it with you." At the same time, he's been so unsupportive, she probably thinks that he thinks it's stupid, & it wouldn't even occur to her to invite him.

Am I the only one who always thought Amy was going to come back & we were going to find out that she didn't actually go through with the abortion? Clearly that's not the case, but I'm so happy she's back. I hate the other girl. I couldn't stand how she was hanging all over him. You wanted to have your college fun and slut it up, stop trying to mark your territory now that you're jealous. Amy handled it very well.

I saw this theory bounced around when the storyline was happening, but I didn't buy it. That would be the kind of major shock/plot twist that, IMO, this show doesn't do. Plus, I felt like going through with the abortion was important in showing the heaviness and sadness of teenage pregnancy.

Very good point. I can't think of it now, but I feel like another show did something similar to this. Maybe that's why it was in my head. I can't wait for the dorm girl to realize that Amy stayed. lol

I'm seriously cringing when I watch the Joel/Julia story line. I think that they have handled Victor's adoption very poorly, almost in an irresponsible manner. They went forward with the adoption on a whim, without taking into account the difficulties that adopting an older abused child might bring. Now, as a result, the whole family is suffering. They clearly need some professional help at this point!

I always thought Hank had some form of Autism, mainly Asperger's. It just seemed like he did based on his personality and actions.

I don't feel bad for Zeke. A little sad but Camille needed a breather. She stood by Zeke all these years and he never listened to her. She needed to get away. She gave him chances but he doesn't want to change his lifestyle so I am all for her wanting to do something she's always dreamed of.

I like Joel and Julia. Not in these circumstances but the adoption has put a huge strain on their relationship. It's sad. I hope they somehow, someway work it out.

I'm not sure why Amber was all cry cry cry last time about her fiancé going back into the military. If they get married they can still be together with the exception of deployments. I didn't get that part of the last show.

Amy needs to stay. The other chick is annoying.
