Just had the county sheriff knock on the door. We don't have a peep hole on our door, so I had no idea who was knocking at 9 at night. I thought maybe it was our next door neighbor Rob, thinking maybe he needed help with something. (Super friendly, great neighbor.) Except whoever knocked like pounded on the door.
I think the sheriff was trying to get someone on a warrant or something. He had a paper in his hand and asked for some guy. I told him I didn't know the name, but if it helped, we have lived in this unit for 3 years, and told him the first names of the neighbors on both sides of us.
A minute later, I heard Rob (neighbor) outside talking to him, but I couldn't hear the convo. I looked out the window, and the cop was walking toward the next building over. (Our unit is 805 building B, the other is 805 building A).
I'm so noisy, and really want to know what he was here for!
In our neighborhood, we are not shy. Everyone congregates in the front yard of the house that's one or two doors down from the action....or we all get together after the 'excitement' to discuss what went down.
I've had two cops and the humane officer show up at our apartment looking for our scumbag neighbor. She thought we called on her, and we did not. We don't know who did. She then said that I was the one that let her vicious pit bull loose (which to do so I would have had to scale a 10 foot porch) and we were going to have to go to court for it. That fell through though. It was a mess.
Ugh, sorry reannalynne. The renters on the other side of us had the humane society called on them by almost every neighbor aournd them. They confronted me about it, because their dog loved me and would jump the fence to greet me at my Jeep every morning before work.
