Do you normally moisturize? Once I got into a good routine of moisturizing every night after my shower, my skin transormed. I rarely get cystic acne now.
One, I'm a derm stuff, but it really helps the smaller stuff and not the chin pimples. As a result, I do this when I have chin break outs, but of course, I don't know how much retina helps (if at all honest).
Third, I've been using a glycolic night cream, which I think has been helping (not hurting at least). Uh, there are less expensive options than this, clearly. Clark's Botantical's Marine Cream: www.birchbox.com/shop/clark-s-botanicals-smoothing-marine-cream
And Fourth, I have a standing prescription now for anti-biotics to take a week at a time if necessary. I've only had to use it twice. I never thought I'd go this route, but its worth it, for me.

Oooh, I been thinking about the Clarks Botanicals! I may need to use some birchbox points....
I really have no idea if its all in my head, but I really do think my skin looks better. It's calmer, less red, and I've been having smaller/less breakouts. I still need spot treatment (but the PTR stuff is gentle enough I can use over large areas - aka my entire chin, without issue). CB's radiance mask is really nice too...
I can recommend a derm in Leawood:). She's actually a PA so she's pretty inexpensive and easy to see.
I ended up with a topical prescription, antibiotics, and face wash from Wal-Mart being the best combo. I also try to wash my make up brushes more. And not touch my face.

At Dermotology and Skin Cancer Center? Went there and didn't remotely like them.
I was using this all winter and it seemed to do great for me. Once the weather changed I feel like it is making the chin worse? Do you think it helps dry skin? That would explain it.

Have you thought of trying DDF's glycolic toner? Maybe that would work for you for warmer months?
I should look into that. I have been using a Clinique toner from years ago I found in the cabinet and it seems to be helping.
