Well, now that I'm not racing racing

at the Tink 10k and half, I suppose I could get on board the costume train.  Nothing crazy, y'all.  And I'd like to not spend a ton of money on something I'm probably only wearing once.  I've got lots of basics in shorts and tanks...tall socks in purple, black, pink, white/orange, red/green. Nothing in Tink green, but I was thinking about Wendy?  I dunno.


And for Princess, I'm about 97% sure I'm going to just walk it.  Don't want to defer, since in 2015, I'd rather go with the fam in January for Goofy or Dopey.  Sooooo....I could do a costume there.  I picked Merida for my bib, so maybe her?  


I'm not a huge fan of sparkle skirts, because I don't like wearing spandex while running (it does NOT STAY PUT).


So....help!  Suggestions?  Pictures?

One of the girls in my run club dresses up for every race - she is so dang cute. She is sponsored by Race Junkie - her outfits are always perfect, so that might be a good place to start. She won tink half last year - girl is incredible.

I can't imagine even racing a race in costume.  I hate her just a little

I don't know what the Tink or Princess races are (Disney?) but do NOT wear a full reindeer onesie. I did a 10k trail run in one and it was damned uncomfortable. Baaaad idea. Ditto on the Santa suit.
I will do another fancy dress if there is an occasion (like Christmas) but will make sure I won't overheat next time.

You can wear tutus or skirts with regular running shorts under. That's what my mom did. I was all about the spandex.

I think Wendy would be awesome. My group is dressing as pirates. .

Sorry the races aren't going to be what you planned, but if you have to walk a race, Disneys a great place to do it. (As I'm sure you know since it's not your first RunDisney event.)

A tutu would be alright to run in I reckon. I saw a chick wearing one at the Conwy Half and she was like one of the first female finishers.
