I've been stuck at home sick for the last couple days so I decided to make River Song's journal. It's not perfect, but it will do!

Before: (from the Dollar Tree)

After putting the cardboard on and covering in a layer or two of tissue paper:

Base coat:

Second coat, with added undertones to match the color a little better: (It's darker than the original blue, but not as dark as the picture makes it out to be.)

Now I just have to touch up a few places and coat it in modge podge. I only did the front because I was too lazy to do the back.
